SLK'N goes on like a body cream, and you want to use a good pump of cream to thoroughly cover the area before shaving. I have to admit, the first time I used this I kind of felt like an idiot. I'd never used a shaving cream that didn't foam and I didn't put enough on! The first pass over my leg I did, I didn't put enough cream on and the razor dragged over my skin. I quickly figured out that you need to use a good amount and really lather it on, since it doesn't foam. Once I realized that, it was shaving heaven! My skin felt smoother and softer, and I didn't need to use as much of my moisturizing cream after my shower since my skin was so nice! I've also noticed that even with the icky NH winter, my legs are less itchy and dry today than they have been all season! I'd definitely recommend this if you have sensitive, dry skin, or if you're looking for a less chemical, non-scented shaving alternative!

I have very sensitive skin

I have very sensitive skin so I like that this cream has no fragrance and is made with organic ingredients. Looking at the ingredients, I'm surprised at how affordable this is. Organic jojoba oil, coconut oil, primrose, shea butter... these are all things I've paid a pretty penny for at department stores. Also, these is kind of out there, but a friend suggested I could use this as a hair conditioner. I was skeptical but I tried it and actually, it works pretty well to tame frizz. I used just a dime sized amount and left it in. My hair feels really soft but not weighted down at all. I would absolutely recommend this shave cream because 1) it's all organic + made in the US 2)not expensive and 3)you can use it on your hair!
