5 Ways to Quiet Your Vibrator

See The BEST Vibrators For Women

What is one thing that can completely ruin your aroused mood?  A vibrator that sounds like a chainsaw and summons the neighbors to their windows!  Noisy vibrators are the worst, especially for a product designed to be so private in nature.  But you've got to work with what you've got in order to get what you want, and we are here to help!  Take back your secret sex and please yourself in peace and quiet!

Make your solo time private again by utilizing one or all of our 5 Ways to Quiet Your Vibrator below!

1.  Shush Those Batteries:  Your vibrator vibrates, and so do the batteries!  Stop those batteries from rattling around in your vibe with an easy solution.  Vibrators can be a little tricky when it comes to paper in the battery compartment.  In some vibes, the paper has to be removed before the vibe will turn on, while others have the paper there to hush the noise from the batteries.  If your battery box is barren, take a bit of cardboard, or thick paper (like cardstock), curl it into a cylinder and slip it into the battery compartment to settle shaky batteries.
Just make sure to snip the paper to the right size, so you aren’t blocking the connection needed to create your vibrations!

2.  Take A Dip:  Water is an amazing tool for muffling vibrations!  Now, we’re not saying to grab your noisiest vibe and step into your echo chamber of a shower with your shower head barely dripping.  You’ll be creating more noise in the shower than in any other room in your house!  But a full bathtub?  That’s the perfect place to quiet your vibrator.  Slide yourself into a luxurious, hot bath and unwind with the steady, pulsing, or escalating vibrations of your favorite waterproof vibrating toy.  In the summer?  Make it a cold bath with a few ice cubes nearby to add some more stimulating sensations!

Tips To Help You Cum Faster

3.  Fluff The Bed:  There’s a reason why the bed is “where the magic happens!”  Take a look at any celebrity bedroom and you’ll see that the mattress is raised to the ceiling with layer after layer of plush, fluffy comforters, and throw pillows that would make Martha Stewart jealous!  One of the best, and most practical mufflers in your house is your comforter or favorite pillow.  Heck, they even sell pillowcases with built in dildos!  Fluff your bed with a new comforter, and enjoy your strong vibrations between sweet, silencing sheets.

4.  Feel The Rhythm:  We mentioned listening to music during sex in our article about relaxing yourself for an orgasm but we’re putting it on repeat!  Turning up your favorite music can not only help you set the mood, it can also drown out the sounds of a loud vibrator!  Different music helps create a different ambiance so turn up your Pandora radio and create a new playlist for a sexy, sensual evening, or a fun, flirty afternoon adventure, and get to it!  Now your neighbors will hear the quiet crooning of your favorite artist instead of your buzzing vibes.  We can’t help you control the noises you make, though!

5.  Buy A Quiet Vibrator:  When it comes down to it, sometimes you just need to buy a quieter vibrator!  With so many vibrator options available to you, there are literally hundreds you can choose from.  If you have a vibrator that’s noisy that you love, chances are there are 10 of the same kind that are whisper-quiet!  We’ve selected only a few of our quietest (shhh!) vibrators below!

I think really loud buzzing is annoying and even when I know nobody can hear me, i feel like they can! It helps me relax to have quieter toys lol

Big family in the house with almost paper thin walls lol...makes it even harder to muffle the vibrating noise. Sometimes the bullet egg rattles inside the plastic piece (not where the batteries are). That creates too loud of a noise.

Most vibrators nowadays are pretty quiet if yours is very loud something may be wrong with it or it is very cheaply made u can get a great vibrator for about 20 to 40 dollars 20 six inches or less 40 for regular size and leave that paper in with the battery u can just cut a corner out to get the metal connection don't take whole thing out and any vibe that takes batteries is waterproof but not water resistant u cannot put it under water u have to spend at least a 100 to get one that can be used in the bath I've worked in this industry for over three years and some of what this site stated was incorrect especially about the bathtub waterproof means if u get a water drop on it it will still work if u get it in with the battery it will short out the motor
