A toy that is all talk?
When I opened my door to see my next TooTimid order on my step, I was beyond elated. I immediately opened everything and gave it a once over. The First Time Power Scoop Vibe definitely held lots of potential, though being a mom to a young child I could help but think of those baby spoons that you can pre-load the food into. If you're a parent, you know the ones. I don't know anyone that uses them personally, but I got a heck of a chuckle when the mental image came to mind.
The material of this toy is a soft, pliable, silky smooth plastic. Definitely comfortable, though as always before using a toy, be sure to give it a wash with some soap and warm water. This toy holds to the standard and take 2 AA batteries, so it doesn't take anything hard to find. The packaging does say that this toy is waterproof, and while the seal on the battery closure is very secure, there isn't a rubber grommet anywhere. This means I probably wouldn't trust it to be fully submerged in water, although shower play should be just fine.
Now that my new toy was powered up and ready to go, it was time to test this baby out. I turned it on the lower of the two setting and started to go to town on my clit. A few things I would like to mention here. While the vibrations of this toy are fairly strong (not the strongest, but easily on the higher end of average), this toy is also very loud. It is NOT a discreet toy, so if you are looking for something quiet, this wouldn't be for you. If you don't mind the buzz, or plan on having some type of background noise on though, you should be just fine.
The shape of the toy does give some great clit stimulation, and you can get some really comfortable angles thank to it. The 'tongue' tip can be cradled against or between the labia juuuuust right to reach that big O! However, this toy wouldn't be very comfortable for insertion, so if you want an insertable toy or gspot stimulation, this wouldn't really fit the bill.
Overall I'd have to give this toy a 3/5 stars. It's very good for clit stimulation, but not much else, and it's one of the louder toys I've used. Which if you have something with the power of a Hitachi, that's a worthwhile trade off, but this toy just doesn't have that comparable UMF.
