His/her thoughts together: We have tried various games focused toward sex. Some are games for foreplay and some are for different ways to have sex etc. this one falls into the latter category. We looked through the cards and talked about playing but this game is poorly thought out.
We couldn't really play it the way it's written. The idea is that it incorporates toys, clothing, etc. That's great! The problem is, you go into it not knowing what you need so unless you take out the cards that don't apply because you don't have what's needed then you mess up the flow of the game as you have to comb through to find a card that will work.
That may not sound like a big deal, I didn't think it would be at first. I thought when we hit a card we don't have we'll just move onto the next one. But there are a lot of cards that had things we don't happen to have. Ranging from stockings to ball gags. This game is geared toward couples with more intense bondage fetishes. We enjoy some bondage but we haven't graduated to this level.
I feel this game could have been better made if it had sub categories so you could essentially create a playing deck for him/her that you knew would A: have all the necessary equipment and B: would meet the level of bondage or fetish of the players. All that is easy to overcome if you pull the cards that don't work but that will possibly be most of them. That is an aggravation but it isn't the fatal flaw of the game for us.
The fatal flaw is that most of the cards are telling you to have sex in a certain way. That would be fine for like a daily challenge and that is probably what we will use it for.
To us, a game toward sex should basically be about playing until you have to just go at it and throw the game to the side, or until someone "wins" or gets a special card or whatever. Almost every card seems to be saying finish the deed so essentially whoever gets the first cards "wins".
If it is going to have a certain sex act it should have a time limit so no one orgasms until it's been a while or someone has one etc. these are things easily fixed with house rules, the problem? By the time you take out what needs to be taken out due to interests or lack of accessories and then add in house rules, you've lost whatever the original game was and could have simply made up your own without buying one in the first place.
We give this game a 2 based on the fact that it wouldn't be the original game but hey, it's got some good ideas that we can use.
