With the newest 50 Shades of Grey movie coming out this Valentine’s Day women all over the globe are anticipating the continuing saga of Ana and Christian. Not to mention the titillating sex scenes with all of that hot bondage. These movies have opened up the world of bondage to the general public in a way like never before! So, in honor of this here are 50 MORE shades of beginner bondage ideas.

WRITHING IN ROPE
Rope Play can be so extremely sensual even without any extensive tying. Silky ropes are the way to go as they are soft and silky and not harsh to the sensation. The idea is to create a restraint situation that is also beautiful to look at. Wrapping a rope around the female body, especially cupping the breasts, is more about the art of Shibari than it is about bondage. Then, as you get more comfortable with the idea of tying you can express yourself differently with the ropes.

BEING IN TOUCH WITH YOUR BODY
One of the hottest things about the 50 Shades movies / books is that Christian introduces Ana to many different toys and items that helps her to become more in touch with her own body. For example, Orgasm Balls or Anal Beads can be an extremely fun new experience for many women. Why stop with just the woman, right? A man can experience different items too that he may have never tried, such as a Prostate Massager. The main aspect here is to encourage your partner into trying the new items by surprising him or her with them. Part of the hesitation with trying new items is the fear of them, so if it is a surprise, there is no fear.

PLEASING PUNISHMENT
Sometimes we can be bad, bad, bad and then we need to be punished. For some couples the excitement from a bondage experience comes from being punished or being the punisher. The wonderful and amazing thing about punishment, however, is that you can have a tremendous amount of pleasure with punishment. For example, if your method of correction happens to be a Riding Crop you can also provide wonderful pleasure with this tool. Sliding the soft, leathery end of the riding crop up and down between her vaginal lips and lightly tapping her clit can send her into sensory overdrive! The more traditional use of being slapped on the ass with the crop is also an option and can provide its own sense of excitement. The tethers of a flogger can be drifted over your bodies, the soft tethers tickling her breasts, stomach, thighs or vaginal area or even his chest, shaft or balls as well. Each couple can decide how much pleasure can be in the punishment.

THE ROUGHNESS
Of course, there are those bondage practitioners who really do like the rougher side of bondage. The possibilities are endless and each couple needs to decide how far they want to go into the land of everything bondage. Usually beginners feel like general restraint systems work the best for them. Something with wrist and ankle cuffs that can be adjusted and moved around. The thing we can learn from Christian Grey is to go slowly and introduce these things at a pace that makes both people feel comfortable, yet indescribably excited.

SOFTER SIDE
Bondage doesn’t have to be all about whips and restraints, there is also a softer side to bondage, especially for beginners. Part of the thrill of bondage is to experience different sensations while you are Blindfolded. This allows the body to become extra heightened with sensations. Then let your imagination run wild with the different sensations you can use to tease your partner. Whether it be a silk tie, a feather duster, an ice cube, a little vibe or even some hot wax – when you surprise your lover with all of these sensations their body will become alive with sensation and pleasure!

I was wondering if TooTimid might give supervised/witnessed/ coached training on sexual things before you try them on your partner or are there places that will provide that training. I know that with my partner if it doesn’t go good the first time they probably will never accept it or even want to try again. “You only have one chance to make a good first impression” and without a little coaching and practice it’s probably going to be harder/ impossible to get it to go good the first time? Thoughts anyone?
