Elizabeth Boskey is a researcher, writer,
and educator passionate about the study of sexually health. She
is currently a part-time assistant professor in the Master's of
Public Health program at SUNY Downstate, where she teaches the graduate
course in Human Sexual Behavior. Elizabeth has published multiple
research papers in the field of reproduction, is a health columnist
for several websites, and wrote the text for the popular science
book "The Invision Guide to Sexual Health." She is a member
of the Association of Reproductive Health Professionals and is the
Guide to Sexually Transmitted Diseases at About.com (std.about.com).
Elizabeth
has been studying the science of sex for more than a decade.
She received her Ph.D. from the Mucosal Protection Lab at Johns
Hopkins University in 2000, and in 2001, she completed her Masters
in Public Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public
Health with a focus on Population and Family Health Sciences. Dr.
Boskey is proud to be a Certified Health Education Specialist.
